F.A.Q.

Can I really get my name in the book?
Yes! Although I am steering the ship, I really love the interaction with you all. When I tell stories, I like to incorporate the characters, locations, outfits, and anything else my listeners/readers come up with. However, I’m not just going to swipe ideas and inspiration. I’d like to give credit where credit is due! If I use something in my work, I will put your name in it somewhere, somehow. (With your permission of course.)

TL;DNR Yes but it hinges on your interaction.

How did you get the idea for the Manhunt?
When I tell a story, I like to ask for character names, personalities, clothing, places, etc. Sort of like Whose Line Is It Anyway? but for longer stories. The ability to interact more online through blogs, chat, etc. is really exciting to me.

What is the Lion's Den? / What is the Volunteering thing?
While my books are works of fiction, the Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) Program is very real and highly beneficial to communities around the United States!

The Lion’s Den is the Solrun Police Department’s name for their (again, fictional) Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) Program.

To find out more about the real Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) Program and how you can get involved, visit the National Neighborhood Watch or the International Association of Chiefs of Police.

What is the Manhunt?
The Manhunt is literally the search for any of the baddies in the Solrun series.

Where did you get Solrun's name?
I’m a big Skyrim fan so the city of Solitude + Whiterun = Solrun.

Who are the voices behind S93.9 Solrun’s Talk Radio?
My son, CJ, provides the male voice and I’m usually the one doing the female voice.

Why should I join the Manhunt?
To get bonus content, Easter eggs, and have more interaction with the story. I want my writing to be more like a mystery dinner except it’s online. Sadly, there’s no food either.
